NFL & College Football Picks And Score Predictions ATS November 2011
The week 13 Chargers-Jaguars Monday Night Football game, San Diego may have waited one week too long to put together its late-season push this time. ESPN will televise the Chargers-Jaguars game on a national basis at 8:30 p.m. Eastern from EverBank Field Monday. San Diego is a 1.5-point road favorite.
NBC will nationally televise the Lions-Saints game beginning at 8:20 p.m. Eastern Sunday from the Superdome. Detroit is 7-4 on the season, putting the Lions squarely in the Wild Card chase. New Orleans, meanwhile, is 7-3 entering its Monday night game against the Giants, and the Saints have a one-half game lead in the NFC South. The Lions-Saints game will play a key role in determining the Wild Card berths in the NFC.
CBS will nationally televise the Georgia-LSU SEC Championship Game from the Georgia Dome in Atlanta at 4 p.m. Eastern Saturday. Top-ranked and undefeated LSU is a 13-point favorite against the betting line.
The Tigers will enter the Georgia-LSU game as the nation’s only undefeated team from a major conference at 12-0. The Tigers clinched a spot in the SEC Championship game by defeating Arkansas, 41-17, last Friday to win the SEC West Division.
Philadelphia and Seattle have identical 4-7 records in week 13 as they prepare for the nationally televised game on the NFL Network. The Eagles-Seahawks game will begin at 8:20 p.m. Eastern Thursday from CenturyLink Field in Seattle.
They’ll take another run at the MAC crown on Friday Night Football in the Ohio-Northern Illinois game. ESPN2 will nationally televise the Ohio-Northern Illinois MAC Championship Game from Ford Field in Detroit at 7 p.m. Eastern. The Northern Illinois Huskies are 3.5-point favorite against the spread.
Now that the 49ers-Ravens week 12 game is here, the NFL Network also received the unexpected benefit of a game that features two of the NFL’s best teams. The NFL week 12 49ers-Ravens game begins at 8:20 p.m. Eastern Thursday from M&T Bank Stadium. Baltimore is a 3.5-point home favorite against the spread.
The NFL Network will telecast the New York Jets at the Denver Broncos from Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium Thursday, beginning at 8:20 p.m. Eastern. New York is a 4.5-point, and the over/under is 41.
The NFL Network will telecast the New York Jets at the Denver Broncos from Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium Thursday, beginning at 8:20 p.m. Eastern. New York is a 4.5-point, and the over/under is 41.
The Jets-Broncos game should feature a New York defense with a chip on its shoulder, after Tom Brady and New England lit up the Jets through the air in a 37-16 win. Now, as the Jets play the Broncos, they’ll see a completely different offense out of Denver quarterback Tim Tebow.
When it scheduled the North Carolina-Virginia Tech for a national telecast before the season, ESPN probably was hoping the Hokies and Tar Heels would both be near the top of the ACC Coastal Division standings. They were half right.
Virginia Tech leads the Coastal at 5-1, one full game ahead of surprising Virginia. North Carolina, meanwhile, has suffered through a tough season, and sits in fifth place in the division at 2-4. At least the Tar Heels are bowl eligible at 6-4 overall.
ESPN will televise the Oklahoma State-Iowa State game from Ames, Iowa, beginning at 8 p.m. Eastern from Jack Trice Stadium. On paper, Oklahoma State-Iowa State looks like a complete mismatch. The oddsmakers agree, as the Cowboys are a 26.5-point road favorite.
The Cowboys lead the Big XII Conference with a 7-0 record, so a win against the Cyclones would give Oklahoma State at least a share of the league championship. The Cowboys have not won a league title since tying for the 1976 Big Eight Conference title.
NBC will televise the Eagles-Giants game as this week’s Sunday Night Football contest, beginning at 8:20 p.m. Eastern from MetLife Stadium. New York is a 3.5-point home favorite.
Almost no one could’ve foreseen the struggles Philadelphia has had in the 2011 season. Heading into the SNF Eagles-Giants game, Philadelphia is just 3-6, tied for last in the NFC East Division. New York sits atop the division at 6-3, a game ahead of Dallas
Entering the Bengals-Ravens game, Cincinnati has been an underdog five times, going 3-2 outright and 4-1 ATS.
The Bengals and Ravens will play a second time this season, closing out the regular season Jan. 1 at Cincinnati.
Florida State opened the season as a Top 5-ranked team, and the Seminoles had a golden opportunity to stamp themselves as a serious national title contender when they hosted #1 Oklahoma Sept. 17, but Florida State fell to Oklahoma, 23-13. That led to a two-week hangover, as the Seminoles followed with losses at Clemson and at Wake Forest, by identical 35-30 scores.
ESPN will televise the Temple-Ohio game from Peden Stadium in Athens, Ohio, at 8 p.m. Eastern Wednesday. Temple is a 4.5-point favorite.
Wednesday’s Temple-Ohio game will be the first of four consecutive mid-week games for the Bobcats, who do not have another Saturday game scheduled.
College Football Score Prediction - USC and Colorado will meet for the first time at Pac-12 Conference foes Friday in Boulder, Colo. The USC-Colorado game begins at 9 p.m. Eastern from Folsom Field, and the Trojans are a three-touchdown road favorite.
At 3-2 in league play, the Trojans are a game behind Arizona State in the South Division of the Pac-12. However, USC cannot qualify for the inaugural Pac-12 championship game because of NCAA sanctions against the football program. The Trojans also are ineligible for a bowl game.
However, oddsmakers might be placing some emphasis on the potential emotional boost New England figures to have in this game, as plenty of Patriots still remember the Super Bowl XLII loss to the Giants after the 2007 season. That Giants-Patriots matchup, which New York won 17-14, prevented New England from posting a perfect 19-0 season.
Bears vs Eagles score prediction ats - Both teams had big expectations entering this season, but the Bears and Eagles combined to win only three times in the first five weeks of the NFL season. Chicago, which played in the NFC Championship game last season after winning 11 regular-season games, opened 2-3. Philadelphia, meanwhile, expected a Super Bowl type of run this season, after making several key signings in the off season. However, Philadelphia lost four of its first five games
